Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Seminary
We are glad you will soon be joining this community!

Newly admitted students are often juggling so many decisions and transitions at once. Whether you are relocating to Columbus or commuting from down the block, we want to help make this arrival as smooth as possible... and we want to make sure you know there is a place for you here! Welcome to the incoming class of 2010!
A Greeting and Invitation from Dr. Diane Hymans
On behalf of the faculty, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of you who are entering Trinity Lutheran Seminary as new students this fall. We are truly delighted that you have chosen to join this community of faith and learning, and look forward to getting to know you.
I want to encourage you to participate in as much of the orientation program, scheduled for August 25-27, as you can. It will help you become familiar with seminary practices and procedures, and acquaint you with faculty, staff, and fellow students. Some highlights include the potluck supper followed by a family-friendly Eucharist for everyone in the community beginning at 5:30 on Wednesday evening, August 25; and the retreat for entering students and the faculty on Thursday, August 26. You will also want to note the Registration/Information Fair on Friday afternoon, the 27th.
Entering students should have received a copy of the schedule for orientation in the mail. If you have not received one, please check with us. You can also find it here on the website.
For many of you, this is a time of significant transition. Please know that the prayers of all of us at Trinity are with you during these coming weeks.
Grace and peace,
Diane J. Hymans
Associate Academic Dean
